Production Manager – Bristol

McBraida Plc are recruiting a Production Manager to align resources (people and equipment) and inspire the workforce to create a culture of process control and manufacturing excellence. This is an exciting opportunity where you will lay the foundations to enable the Company to implement its long-term business and manufacturing strategies.


Constant support will be available from a varied and experienced Senior Management Team to ensure that you have the direction and information to excel in this role.

The Job

You will ensure that the factory runs smoothly, and that the people and equipment available to you are utilised effectively. You will report to the Group Production Manager and work with the rest of the production leadership team to develop processes and metrics, and ensure that they’re understood and adhered to.

Role Responsibilities

  • Manage the performance of the factory

  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement and achieving targets

  • Work with members of the management team to create / refine processes

  • Ensure that resource is properly allocated to the areas where it’s required

  • Keep production facility equipment in excellent working order (TPM and 5S)

  • Mitigate delivery risks once they have been identified

  • Ensure compliance to the Business Management System (BMS)
