Business Development Manager – Bristol

McBraida Plc have a vacancy within the Sales and Commercial Department requiring significant involvement with existing and new customers in the UK, US and Europe and supporting business development activities as required. This is an exciting opportunity where you will provide support to identify and execute strategies to achieve the Group’s long-term business objectives.
The Job
Reporting to the Group Sales and Commercial Director, this role will involve identifying and introducing new customers and new customer orders to the business, as well as sustaining strong relationships with existing customers.
Primary Role Responsibilities

Act as the main point of contact for new customers
-
Develop long term relationships with current and new key customers
-
Establish close relationships and links with all levels of customer purchasing, technical, engineering, programme and management personnel.

Influence the outcome of quotations and proposals, and collect useful market information
-
Identify new sales opportunities with existing and new customers
-
Develop and implement ways to package the company portfolio of capability for existing and new market sectors
-
Work in conjunction with Engineering to offer solutions and services to existing and prospective customers

Develop and implement strategic growth plans, sales plans and forecasts to achieve targets

CNC Machinists (Turning, Milling or Grinding)
McBraida are hiring machinists to boost their capacity in order to respond to increasing customer orders.
Role function and key responsibilities

Setting and operating CNC machines to produce high-spec parts for the aerospace industry

Work as part of a team to ensure that key objectives are achieved.

Care of production equipment, thus ensuring it remains fit for purpose and functions optimally.

Following the production plan

Ensure product standards and quality controls are maintained, and ensure compliance with necessary health, safety and environmental policies and standards.

Work in line with internal processes, drawings and routings
-
Take part in training, including keeping up to date with the relevant Health & Safety standards.

Effectively work within a team environment, communicating with fellow team members

McBraida are hiring manual machinists to working in the tool room, supplying the rest of the factory with quality work-holding fixtures.
